Up late/early

So I'm up at 1:27am waiting on my cinnamon rolls to finish baking. Its a new recipe that I totally started on late and couldn't just stop right in the middle of the whole process! I don't know if they will hold up for our Ward x-mas party at 9am(I don't want them to get too gooey or too dry)...I won't be there at 9...I'll be there at like 9:30-10! I can't even make it on time to sacrament(9am) on Sundays. Ever since I was released from RS President I have totally become a slacker at being a good "time" example.

Anyway, I was Blog-hopping and totally felt guilty that I have slacked off on my blogging. Especially when I saw Erica and Nicki's Blogs. I totally have lots of pictures to share and soooo many cute videos of my kiddos...but don't make the time to post them. The video thing I HATE doing...it seriously takes me like an hour to upload them. What am I doing wrong? Any tips?

Lately Jared has been talking soooo much and so well! He is too cute to listen to. He is really trying to learn...I can see the little wheels turning as I correct him with his annunciation. My favorite thing is how he emphasises his L sounds with his tongue. I think he does this because I would do that to teach him that sound. Lately he LOVES to wear his PJ's. Any time we are home he wants to wear his PJ's. I think he mostly likes to put them on by himself(they are footie's). I just love him!

Lexi has been crawling all over the place...not into trouble yet, thank goodness! Just this week she did her first baby sign...milk. I love watching her little hands do it. So cute and little. Another thing she does that LOVE is how copies us when we say "hi" in a high pitched voice...it totally sounds like she is saying hi.

Soooo..I'm totally cutting this short now because the rolls are done and I am TIRED! Keep up the faithful blogging people! :)

Halloween 2009

We were a circus family. I was the ring tamer with my ring of fire...

Scott was a clown...

Jared was my circus lion and would jump through the ring of fire...

and Lexi was our circus monkey!

On our way out for some trick-or-treating

Jared in the costume contest...both of my kids LOVED their costumes. They didn't try to pull them off or anything! Lexi was just happy as a clam in hers, and Jared wanted to ware his over to his Mimi's house for Sunday dinner.

Lexi is 6 Months Old!

Lexi is 6 months old today. Hard to believe she is half way to a year! She is such a tiny little thing. She is 25inches and 13.6 pounds. Maybe she'll gain some weight now that she is eating some solids.
These pictures were taken in the last few days...enjoy!

Lexi getting a taste of toe.

Guess it tastes good!

Jared is such a good brother. He loves to make Lexi laugh...mostly squeak!

Jared wanted to help feed his little sister. See how serious he is about his job!

Lexi has started to want everything we are eating. So I bought a tiny jar of baby food. She would hardly let us feed her...she kept shoving her hand in her mouth before we could get the spoon in. I think she thought her fingers were where the taste was coming from. So when we got home I thought I'd try some cooked green beans, and let her feed herself.

Shoving food and fingers in her mouth.

Tastes GOOD!
Such a cute little cheesy smile!

This weeks highlights

Jared likes to climb in his old walker...now Lexi's walker. He was sitting right in front of the T.V. and we asked him to move. This is how he did it. It was funny.
Lexi and Me at the Ellison v. Killeen football game. Ellison is Scott's old high school. He LOVES football and I love football games. Next game we'll be ready with our Ellison gear! And old people seats...our backs were killing us after the game...maybe from holding kids!

Grandpa and Lexi at the game

Grandpa and Jared at the game...Jared is telling me that there is a train passing by. Yes, there is a train that passes by on the other side of the fence...right behind the scoreboard...which is ridiculous...it has a replay screen on it and I think flashing ads...only in Texas!

Again, Only in Texas would you find a press box this big at a high school stadium...my high school's was like 10'x 10' how they are SUPPOSED to be! This field is made of turf and grass...it's actually pretty beautiful. My school's had a permanent dirt path down the middle, and when it would rain it was a mud puddle...I know, I slid down it during soccer season!

So am I going to get reported for showing goofy pictures of my son showing off his big by undies?!!!

In this picture he is showing me his muscles...he tends to do this naturally when he gets excited about something new.
Here is Lexi on Scott's baby blanket...She liked picking at the yarn.

Jared found his baby blanket that his Mimi made him. I thought he was too big for it so I had put it away. When I was taking some clothes out to give away he saw it and started jumping with excitement saying, choo choo train!"

Jared and Bode in Bode's new tent that Jared got him for his B-Day.
Yah, Jared not only blew out his candles but stuck his fingers in his cake and opened some of his presents for him! Who invited that kid!

Our trip to San Diego and more

Just a fun picture in the grass of Lexi
Can you tell she likes her ExerSaucer

Dallas Temple for Josh's endowment

We went to San Diego two weeks ago...AWESOME! I hadn't seen my sister Nicki's family in over 4 years!
Here is the San Diego Temple. I wish I could have got a picture of my temple during the day...oh well.
Scott and I went to Vegas for his friend Kevin's wedding and ditched the kiddos with my parents...thanks Mom and Dad!

Kevin, Scott, Jake & Mike
This was on our way to SD...Jared loved sitting in a big boy seat and looking out the window at the airplane. He'd better...that seat cost us! Still worth it over driving with Lexi , who cries in the car. On this flight the stewardess loved Lexi. She asked if she could hold her and then asked if she could walk around with her. I had never seen that before. I thought for sure the airlines would have some sort of liability clause that would forbid something like this. Maybe she was new. Anyway, I figured the lady wasn't going anywhere with her so why not! Gave Scott and I a nice break from holding her on our lap. She's so heavy! Just kidding!
Tank and Jared watching a movie...he gets it from Scott!

It was so nice of my grandma and aunt to drive 3 hours to see all of us. We tried to get a picture of all the kids with them but as you can see, kids will be kids. We are missing Angel and Lexi, the oldest and the youngest of all the grand kids.

Lexi's name sake(my grandma) and cousin Cumorah

This is Isaiah holding Lexi. I just thought it was so cute how he always wanted to hold her. All of Nicki's kids were super cute with her. They thought it was so cute how small she is. Even Victor who's 6 kept saying how cute and little she is. Those Loucks kids are just too sweet!

We went to the park down the street. This picture is blurry but I just thought it was so cute how he was throwing his head back in pure delight.

Here's Vic burying himself

Dakota being crazy Kota

Aaron Perez and Lexi at the beach
Sam and Lexi

Jared loves to pour dirt in his hair...I was not surprised to see him do it at the beach

I taught Jared how to make drip castles

He sat there forever making these things

Bumbos are the BEST! After only one trip to the beach I had to buy one for the rest of our trip there. She sat in this thing every time we went to the beach in SD. I even got to take it home for free!

I wish I could have taken a nap like this on the beach...LUCKY!
Silly faces

Tank in the sand
Jared got a free ride back to the car
All in all our trip was super fun and worth every penny. I wish my brother could have been there with us. Maybe next time.
